Ginger Beef and Broccoli (Sugar-Free)

Indulge in the savory flavors of our Ginger Beef and Broccoli, a wholesome dish with no added sugar. Tender strips of beef are marinated in a zesty ginger sauce and stir-fried to perfection with fresh, crisp broccoli. This healthy and delicious meal is perfect for those looking to enjoy a nutritious dinner without compromising on taste.


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

  • 1 tbsp arrowroot or cornstarch

  • 1.5lb lean beef (flank or sirloin)

  • 1.5 tbsp avocado oil

  • 3 green onions

  • 1 tbsp garlic

  • 1 large red bell pepper

  • 2 cups chopped broccoli

  • Sauce

    • 1 cup chicken broth

    • 4 tbsp low sodium soy

    • 1.5 tbsp fresh ginger

    • 1 tbsp arrowroot


Step 1: Coat beef with arrowroot or cornstarch.

Step 2: Heat a wok or pan over high heat. Add oil and beef, cooking until sear marks form, about 5 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.

Step 3: Reduce heat to medium. Add oil, green onion, and garlic to the skillet, cooking until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

Step 4: Add bell pepper and cook together for 2 minutes.

Step 5: Add chopped broccoli or broccolini, covering the pan to soften the veggies for 2–3 minutes.

Step 6: Prepare the sauce by mixing its ingredients. Return beef to the pan, toss together, and pour in the sauce. Once it bubbles, stir immediately and continuously to prevent the sauce from becoming slimy.

Step 7: Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds. Serve with your choice of brown rice, jasmine rice, or cauliflower rice. Enjoy!
